I received my rifles a couple days ago. An excellent reproduction of the MP44 rifle. Sitting next to an original would be hard to notice without looking very close. The attention to detail in the construction is amazing, extremely happy with them and cannot wait to get them out for the next re enactment.

This is a beautiful rifle! Shoots great! A perfect reproduction! Definitely the big dog at the range!

This isn’t a reproduction, it IS the real thing just made 80 years late. I compared this to a 1944 version and everything is perfect, almost too perfect!

It cycles ppu ammo flawessly when oiled, i failed to measure my grouping but it was far better than the 1944 dated. Definitely worth the price to someone who wants the real deal that they can shoot without worry!

The purchase was worth it. Everything is tight and accurate. The MP44/STG44 even accepts VZ58 Muzzle breaks since the thread pitch is M14x1RH. Just FYI 🙂 Will be on the lookout for future products.

I love my MP44. I got it with the siderail for optics. They did a phenomenal job.

The gun looks like somebody uncovered a secret stash of Operation Werwolf guns in perfect condition. All the little stampings are identical. I just went to a full auto shoot in Oklahoma where I got to shoot a real one and the feel is the same. The original is so slow in full auto that I am not even really as sad to not have that switch as I would be on other guns. Still, if someone came up with a forced reset trigger version of the lowers that would be cool of course. I only got to shoot 40 rounds so far but it runs.

I cannot wait for the FG42 variants and the integrally suppressed MP38!

Had my first opportunity to shoot my BD-44 this past weekend.. smooth as silk!.. turned alot of heads on the range ! perfection!

Just received mine this week and it is such a great reproduction. You really cannot tell the difference between one of these and an original other than the finish being factory fresh! For anyone on the waiting list it is definitely worth the wait!

When I first picked up my STG44 marked D-K clone the first impression was how solid it felt. Even the metal handguard, which is usually a loose fit on originals, was perfectly snug. For a gun whose parts are stamped and folded to fit (like the originals), the stampings are crisp and the alignment perfect. What parts are machined or cast are all well done. Rack the action and the feel along with the sound is every bit as impressive as an original. The magazine is as well made as the gun. The feed lips are very sturdy and it duplicates an original in construction; so much so I purchased three additional mags. They all lock up in the mag well with a distinct click and eject freely with a press of the mag release. Several rounds invested now and I’ve yet to have a failure of any kind. Ejection is positive without any distortion of the spent cases, which look just as good as they did before they were fired. The trigger is surprisingly light and has a crisp break. I have not checked the gun for accuracy yet but if it’s anything like my D-K BD38 it will be impressive! Collectors and reenactors will appreciate the effort D-K has gone to in order to hide the ATF required manufacturers name and address, which is on the bottom of the gun at the trunnion flat so as not to detract from the gun’s original appearance. D-K’s clone would make the craftsmen at the 1944 Haenel factory envious. Which, adding to the original look, the gun bears the stampings that reflect the WWII factory codes of both Haenel and Merx-Werke. A nice touch! This gun provides the owner with all the look and feel of an original without the crazy price of an original. Well done D-K Productions Group!
